Our Sal de Vida operation is located in the Catamarca province of Argentina, around 20 kilometres from our Fénix operation in a straight line, but approximately 60 kilometres apart by mountain road.

The operation uses solar evaporation ponds to concentrate lithium-bearing brine before processing it at an onsite lithium carbonate plant. 

Sal de Vida achieved first production in the second quarter of 2026, ahead of plan, marking a significant step in expanding our lithium production in Argentina. The operation has a target production capacity of approximately 15,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) per year.
