Georgie Bezette

Experience

Georgie was appointed Chief People Officer in January 2025 and leads our global People function. She is responsible for people strategy, leadership and culture, workforce capability, talent and organisational effectiveness – ensuring the company has the leadership, skills and workforce to deliver long-term performance and growth.

Since joining Rio Tinto in 2008, Georgie has held a range of senior executive roles, leading enterprise-wide transformation, workforce and capability strategies, operating model design, digital transformation and organisational performance improvement.

Prior to Rio Tinto, she held consulting and transformation roles across professional services, financial services and the public sector. Georgie is a member of the IMD Foundation Board and has served on several Rio Tinto-related boards.
