L’offre de produits de Rio Tinto a permis à l’entreprise de dépasser les prix de l’aluminium du LME d’environ 20 % au cours des cinq dernières années, grâce aux primes de produit et de marché. La coentreprise de recyclage Matalco devrait également apporter une valeur ajoutée. Matalco devrait générer environ 70 millions de dollars américains par année en synergies opérationnelles, de vente et de marketing d’ici 2028.
