Safety results
Our goal is zero injuries in the workplace. There is still some way to go in achieving our goal and increased focus is being placed on effective visible leadership and more rigorous compliance with the safety standards. Our reporting focuses on three main areas:
- fatalities, lost time injuries and all injuries. We regret to report that there were two fatalities at managed operations in 2005. The lost time injuries frequency rate was 0.56 injuries per 200,000 hours worked and the all injury frequency rate was 1.35 injuries per 200,000 hours worked.
- management systems for safety.
In addition, we also report fines for infringement of safety regulations.
