Systems to shape ethical behaviour

A programme on managing cultural difference was developed and conducted initially in Rio Tinto head quarters. This workshop has grown over the last two years to include all aspects of diversity. Eighteen programmes involving 200 people have now been run.

The programme is available across the Rio Tinto Group for businesses to adopt at local level. For example, the diversity awareness and sensitivity material was used as the basis of the Valuing our diversity workshop for Murowa Diamonds.
