Share savings plan
Rio Tinto has introduced share savings plans for employees worldwide. The savings related plans provide an opportunity for employees to participate in the success of the Group. Under the savings plans, employees may buy shares in Rio Tinto on potentially favourable terms. Rio Tinto believes this will encourage greater identification with, interest in and loyalty to the Group whilst providing a valuable benefit to the individuals.
