Raising Talent Programme
Rio Tinto focuses on the importance of developing talented, early career professionals, not only in terms of their technical and operational expertise, but equally in terms of their commercial and people leadership abilities.
Rio Tinto continues to support the London Business School and International Institute for Management Development (IMD). Participants from Rio Tinto businesses worldwide have been sent on the programmes. Progress of past participants is monitored. Collaboration and sharing of learning across participant groups is encouraged.
In addition to the programme, graduates also visit Rio Tinto headquarters where they are introduced to the work of each department. They also have opportunity to meet senior executives in order to better understand the business direction of the Group.
