The way we work, Rio Tinto's statement of business practice, summarises the Group's principles and policies for all employees. It is designed to ensure that we all reflect in our daily work the high standards and values we share, key among which are accountability, fairness, integrity and openness.

Contractor Privacy Statement (for Category 1, Category 2 and Category 3 Contractors)
The Contractor Privacy Statement applies to all companies supplying Category 1, Category 2 or Category 3 Contractors to Rio Tinto Group companies.
Category 1, 2 and 3 Contractors provide labour services to Rio Tinto under a contract between Rio Tinto and your company.
Please make the Contractor Privacy Statement available to those of your employees who will provide labour services to Rio Tinto under your contract with Rio Tinto.

Supplier Privacy Statement
This Supplier Privacy Statement applies to all suppliers of Rio Tinto Group companies (whatever goods or services are supplied).
Please make this Privacy Statement available to your directors and staff who are likely to interact with Rio Tinto, or who are involved in administering the contract that we have in place with you (e.g. your sales, accounts, contract administration staff).
If your company supplies labour services to Rio Tinto, please provide those of your employees who provide such services with the separate Contractor Privacy Statement (above).
