Last updated: 21 June 2023

We have reopened our train line near Dampier in Western Australia following the derailment of one of our autonomous trains on 17 June, with trains back travelling on the line from 20 June.

Safety is our top priority and the recovery and clean-up work at the site is progressing at a safe distance from the rail line and nearby power and water infrastructure.

The line will remain subject to speed restrictions while this work is completed. An investigation into the cause of the derailment is ongoing.
