We have disclosed detailed information on 14 of our global tailings facilities in alignment with the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM).
These tailings facilities are those rated Very High or Extreme under the GISTM classifications, with the highest potential consequences in the unlikely event of a failure.
We have made considerable progress since August 2020 towards conformance with the GISTM and we are pleased that the majority of the work has been done, with detailed plans in place to complete outstanding items.
