Sulphuric acid is produced as a by product of our copper smelting process at Kennecott Utah Copper, which is 100 per cent owned by Rio Tinto. Our customers include gold, copper, uranium, and beryllium metal producers, fertiliser producers, chemical manufacturers, power plants, steel companies, farmers, and companies involved in water treatment.
