Fauna and Flora International (FFI)

Founded in 1903, Fauna and Flora International (FFI)  is the world's longest established international conservation body. It acts to conserve threatened species and eco-systems worldwide, choosing solutions that are sustainable, based on sound science, and take account of human needs. Through the partnership, Rio Tinto and FFI aim to improve understanding of the links between sustainable economic development and biodiversity issues from a social and environmental perspective.
