Earthwatch Institute has developed one of the most extensive scientific field research programmes in the world. The long standing partnership between Earthwatch and Rio Tinto is focused on the Group's biodiversity strategy. The programme of activities includes the development of biodiversity management performance processes and measures, site based research and community capacity building.
