Product regulatory compliance

Our aim is not just to comply with existing regulations with regard to sustainable development. We also go further than the minimum statutory requirements and help to formulate best practice in a given area, based on sound science.

Part of our approach is to proactively and positively engage with key legislative developments. We do this in order to understand the impacts on our products and markets, to assist regulators in the development of the regulations and to ensure regulatory compliance.

How we work within the regulatory field

To that end, we actively participate in scientific, regulatory and political arenas throughout the world that have an influence on policy and regulation of these matters.  In addition, we frequently organise workshops, lead research consortia and attend national and international meetings aimed at improving environmental and health regulations.

Often information gaps need to be identified and prioritised.  As a consequence of this involvement, we are often asked for ongoing contributions when governments develop new regulations, because of our strong support for sound science and best practice.

We believe that all this helps us to become trusted as an industry leader that is prepared to fund product related research through independent authoritative scientific research organisations.
