GRI checklist
This year's reporting is drawn up in-line with the GRI's new generation or G3 guidelines and to that end, we have adopted the "materiality principle", a new, more formal process to identify what we should report on. In accordance with those guidelines, we declare that our 2006 Sustainable Development Review and the appropriate parts of this website are aligned with Application Level A+.
Our view is that the reporting principles identified in the GRI Guidelines are as important as the elements and indicators. So our GRI Checklist provides a guide as to how our reporting activities incorporate these principles.
In addition, we indicate where information relevant to the elements and indicators can be found in our 2006 Sustainable development review, Access to Resources, or elsewhere on our website.
Where elements and indicators in the guidelines are relevant to us, we aim to report against them. But in other areas, we have reported against those that are more relevant to driving performance improvements within our business.
The indicators and elements are as follows:
- Strategy and analysis
- Organisational profile
- Report parameters
- Governance, commitments and engagement
- Economic indicators
- Environmental indicators
- Product reponsibility indicators
- Labour practices and decent work indicators
- Human rights indicators
- Society indicators
