The Group assigns expatriates on a selective basis and seeks to recruit qualified and experienced local nationals wherever practicable. The principle of best candidate for the role guides all selection decisions.

We do not report on the proportion of our workforce hired from the local community at the Group level as we have a variety of data collection systems implemented by individual business units across the Group. This means that data aggregation is not currently possible. We are currently improving our data collection approach in this area and will be able to report more completely on this indicator within the next five years.
