Our aim is to fully integrate environment into the business as a core value, and leadng environmental performance also creates and sustains our business value. So we constantly look to improve our performance through consistent application of our environmental standards globally.

We also work proactively to identify and manage emerging risks and opportunities, primarily through the development and implementation of specific strategies such as water and biodiversity.

We are also looking beyond our current licence to operate to the 'Mine of the Future'. This aims to minimise our footprint by using innovative approaches to mining and processing.
