The David Watt Prize 2008
Entries are invited for this year's David Watt Prize.
The Prize of £10,000 will be awarded for the entry which the judges deem to have made an outstanding contribution towards the greater understanding of political issues, whether national, international or global.
The entry must have been published in print during 2007 in an English language newspaper or journal anywhere in the world. It should not exceed 5,000 words.
The closing date for receipt of entries is 31 March 2008.
The David Watt Prize was established by Rio Tinto in memory of David Watt, a journalist widely regarded as the outstanding political writer and commentator of his generation.
