You can now follow Rio Tinto on Twitter.com - a free social networking and micro-blogging service.

We'll be posting updates (or "tweets") on Twitter.com  about media releases, events and content updates of our digital channels. You can log on to the Twitter website, register (it's free) and follow us either on ur profile page or via short message service (SMS), instant messaging, RSS, email or a variety of applications.

We'll be trialling this service during the first part of 2008.
