Human Resources programmes Training, development and incentives

All busineses continue to do work on leadership development, involvement of people and incentives for individual and team performance. Examples of learning programmes in the workplace include:

Kennecott Utah Copper and Borax reimburse up to 75 per cent of tuition costs and fees for further training and educational courses. There is a wide range of specific on the job training programmes for operators and supervisors, as well as training in time management, conflict management and computer skills. Australian businesses have embraced the Front Line Leadership initiative aimed at providing accredited leadership training to supervisors and superintendents.
