Coal & Allied initiatives include the design and adoption of a rigorous selection and induction process to be used in all its mines, the introduction of a frontline management programme which makes clear leadership principles and facilitates networking of frontline leaders. Coal & Allied also completed a review of its internal communication processes through face to face interviews and focus groups, made up of all employees.
