Kennecott Energy Corporation, Rio Tinto's coal mining company in Wyoming, US, has undertaken an extensive survey to assess the priority needs of the business's neighbouring communities. The aim of the survey is to better understand local needs, concerns and values with respect to our operations and the role of our business in the community.
