Developing people for growth

We are committed to giving our people the support and resources for life-long learning. This not only includes learning for personal development but also, of course, for the growth needs of the business.
 
Initiatives include the Rio Tinto College, which allows individuals access to various learning modules; to undertake courses; and access to collaboration pages where they can share knowledge with other members. 
 
As part of the College, we have the Rio Tinto academies that are both functional and process academies including Marketing and Leadership with Health, Safety and Environment coming soon.
 
There is also a leadership development programme that is available for frontline supervisors through to senior executives. These programmes are run in conjunction with leading educational institutes such as Duke University and London Business School.
