Company secretary remuneration
The remuneration policy applies to the company secretary of each of Rio Tinto plc and Rio Tinto Limited. They participate in the same performance based remuneration arrangements as the executives. The individual performance measures for the Company secretaries' annual cash bonus comprise Group and personal measures. Their personal measures reflect the key responsibilities of the company secretarial role and include ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, oversight of good corporate governance practice and the provision of corporate secretarial services.
