Remuneration committee

The Remuneration committee is responsible for determining the policy for executive remuneration and for the remuneration and benefits of individual executive directors and senior executives. Full disclosure of all elements of directors' and relevant senior executives' remuneration can be found in the Remuneration report, together with details of the Group's remuneration policies. The committee is chaired by Sir Richard Sykes who will be replaced by Andrew Gould at the conclusion of the 2008 annual general meetings.
