Cultural heritage feature

A cultural heritage feature is a place or object to which is ascribed cultural, spiritual, aesthetic, historic, scientific, research or social significance for past, present or future generations. This might include natural springs, mountains and the like, and burials, rock art, ceremonial grounds or any other objects which have sacred significance for local indigenous people. In more urbanised settings cultural property could be structures or places of historical or aesthetic significance. Also included are any other sites, structures or remains of archaeological, palaeontological, religious, cultural, or natural local/regional significance.
