One extensive programme is LOOP (Luzenac Opportunities for Optimisation Programme). LOOP is a formal and comprehensive review of the cost of activities within every area of the company that provides a standard framework to analyse existing costs, to allow for cost savings input/ideas from all employees, to consistently review all ideas, and to track and report on the status of those ideas. The programme relies on the education of Luzenac employees on critical business factors and their ideas on ways to reduce costs while maintaining or improving business performance.
